If you are a movie fan who travels a lot you might be on the lookout for a new set of headphones that gives you better sound quality for your favorite flicks. A new set of headphones has debuted called Neoh that use some interesting tech to create virtual surround sound and provide spatial sound simulation.

The Neoh headphones have embedded motion sensors and work in conjunction with a mobile app that simulated multi-point sound sources. According to the makers, the listening experience is comparable with the latest generation movie theater surround sound systems.

The headphones work with a free Neoh player that will run on tablets, smartphones, and PCs. Apps are available for Android and iOS devices. Without the application, the Neoh headphones work like any normal set of headphones.

Neoh is on Kickstarter looking for $80,000 in funding and has raised over $51,000 so far with 26 days to go. To get a set of Neoh headphones you will pay $209 with shipping expected in June 2015. You can get a limited edition numbered Neoh headphone for $299 or more. There are 20 available in the limited edition and as of now, five have been sold.
