Samsung Intercept users have been patiently waiting the arrival of Android 2.2 Froyo. Now being the second to newest operating system we should see it hit a few more devices before the focus turns to Gingerbread early next year. According to a leaked update sheet, we should be seeing the update beginning to be pushed to Intercept users starting December 17th.
In addition to the many new features Android 2.2 brings to the table, users will see many bugfixes such as ones involving dropped calls, force close on messages and phone contacts plus TeleNav GPS has been added.
Tethering will be available for the device for an extra $29.99 a month.
If all goes to plan, we should start to see the OTA rollout over the next few days.

Got the update and now my GPS does not work. Frustrating.
Got the update and all my contacts are gone. Wont sync with my google account.
