Facebook isn’t going anywhere. I think it will still be the top social network for a few more years before a new one comes along and be more popular. Some people may have stopped checking their accounts but I know a lot of people who still depend on Facebook as if life would be over if they don’t open it. Oh well, you’ve got to admit that it’s been great communicating with family and friends on Facebook. But more often that not, it has also become a place for so many trivial stuff that can be annoying at times.
However, for major companies and brands, Facebook has helped expand their reach. Thanks to the Facebook Pages and apps like the Messenger and the Groups App. Recently announced is the Facebook At Work, a new platform within Facebook, that allows any company to create a network within Facebook.
The Facebook At Work service is similar to regular Facebook, only this one is focused on enterprises. This service will also include messenger and news feed. You can register for a separate work log-in or simply link your personal profile.
This particular version of Facebook won’t track your data. No ads will be shown too. The Facebook At Work service is still being tested. The social network has started to bring “work” to some companies as well.
