Sharp just introduced its latest AQUOS 4K Ultra HD TV lineup for this year. The company’s announcement at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas brings up the number of 4K UHD TVs ranging from 43- to 80-inches now available in the market. The newest 4K series includes the new model that boasts of the highest resolution TV today: the AQUOS Beyond 4K Ultra HD TV. We all know how Sharp has always been on the forefront of the TV industry, helping shape the display technologies that other manufacturers usually follow.

Sharp has rolled out the new 2015 AQUOS 4K Ultra HD TV in seven screen sizes. These are advanced Smart TVs, one of which can be considered as the highest resolution UHD TV–the Beyond 4K Ultra HD TV. This is the highest resolution TV that boasts of Sharp’s very own Quattron technologies and with up to 66 million subpixels. This particular TV actual has 167% greater resolution than the traditional 4K UHD. With those numbers, it’s actually reaching 8K already.

The Beyond 4K Ultra HD TV is available in 80-inches. Other specs include the SPECTROS Rich Color Display, High Dynamic Range technology, full array LED, and local dimming for whiter whites and deeper blacks. TV will be available in the latter part of this year.

The Sharp AQUOS 4K Ultra HD series includes the UB30, UE30, and UH30 models. The 4K Ultra HD TVs feature the latest 4K TV specs, a quad core processor, and a new codec. The UB30 will be out in four screen sizes: 43″, 50″, 55″, and 65″. Starting price for this line is $750.

Meanwhile, the UE30 series is available is 60″ and 70″ and the first 80″ 4K Ultra HD TV. Features include THX 4K certification, SPECTROS Rich Color Display for better reds and greens that allow a more realistic display of landscape and nature scenes.

Both the UE30 and UH30 series will run on Android TV platform to bring you more apps, movies, and games from Google Play. This means you can also cast content from any mobile device, as well as, be able to use voice search. There’s also the SmartCentral 4.0 app that brings satellite, streaming, browse, and search cable functions. You’ll get to experience an easy-to-navigate device and settings menu with this special app.
