peggle blast

Electronic Arts wants to bring us some holiday cheer by releasing the latest PopCap game called Peggle Blast. It’s not a Christmas-focused game but the theme music reminds me of the season as it’s a bit cheery and festive with bells ringing.

Peggle Blast was developed by the same team who brought us Bejeweled and Plants vs. Zombies so it’s expected to be as popular as the two. All you need to do is blast the pegs shown by Bjorn the Unicorn. This reminds me of the classic brick breaker game so yeah, you can actually say it’s a redefined brick game. Just blast all the bricks and pegs with a ball. Just make sure you drop the ball on the moving jar after.

Peggle Blast is full of all things beautiful, magical, and colorful. Little girls would love this. (Yes, little girls because of the cutesy stuff). Of course, no one is stopping you to play this game even if you’re a grown man. All you need is luck to be on your side because skills alone won’t help you. The unicorn will give instructions on how many pegs you need to hit. If it says you need to hit 15 orange pegs, that’s all you need to blast. Other pegs and bricks you hit will give you bonus points though so aim for greatness.

Peggle Blast will make you smile but first you need to finish each level on the map of glittering worlds . In-app purchases are offered to make the game more magical. Controls are not complicated but gameplay is definitely unpredictable. Actually, this game won’t make you think much but bouncing to blast pegs and bricks can be a challenge so it’s a bit thrilling too. You’ll be surprised with the rainbows, boosts, time bombs, gem drops, and peg-gooping gnomes suddenly appearing.

Bounce, pop, and blast pegs and bricks with friends. You can compete against those in your network and send them sparkling gifts if you want. Sugar and spice and everything nice? That’s what Peggle Blast is all about.
