Samsung could be working on themes for the new TouchWiz but nothing is certain and official yet. We only hear rumors about it and recently, images have been discovered which could serve as clues to the TouchWiz themes feature.
Antonio Monaco, an Italian technology journalist, uploaded on his Instagram account (cinquetacche), images of the possible Themes option in TouchWiz. We have no idea where he got the images but they seem legit. The Themes option is believed to appear when you long-press the home screen and even when on the ‘Display and wallpaper’ under the Settings.
The TouchWiz could feature new themes too: Sweet, Craft, and Natural. With themes, this means you can change the color schemes, icons, ringtones, background, wallpaper, and even fonts according to your preference.
Honestly, we’re not doubting themes will come to the new TouchWiz because a handful of Galaxy devices already have them. Well, at least the Chinese variants of the phones available in the emerging market. There’s the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy A5, and the Galaxy A3 bearing the themes feature. The only question now is when will Samsung officially make the announcement. And will it ever show off some Material Design goodness? Let’s just wait and see.
