If you would like to experience role playing games that wouldn’t really take that much brain cells, there are games out there that are intentionally simpler to appeal to that market. One of these games is Tapventure, which lets you defeat your (sometimes cute) enemies just by continually tapping on your screen and collecting coins along the way.
The world of this RPG is a universe where there are islands floating all around and in there are “funny” creatures that you need to defeat by using your thumb to tap on them. When you’ve beaten them, they drop coins that you need to collect in order to upgrade your thumb-tapping prowess. You can also hire some companions along the way because defeating floating creatures isn’t much fun if you’re doing it alone. These companions will actually work for you, even when you’re away from the game while you’re sleeping or living life, battling the creatures and bringing you more gold coins.
While the earlier stages seem simple, things do get a bit difficult when you get to the Game Boss levels since they are tougher to defeat and the creatures there have a Heal time and multiple lives. That’s why it’s important to get combos through magic spells and to train your companions properly to help you beat the creatures before they can heal or regenerate. And if you think you can buy extra coins with real money, the developers said they don’t want to “cripple the balance of power” so you can only earn coins through gameplay.
Tapventure is available for free download from the Google Play Store. There are some in-app purchases (except for the coins as mentioned earlier) available so you might want to restrict that feature if other people would like to play the game on your device.
