If you’ve already reached your saturation point for the ubiqutous animated movie about ice queens and talking snowmen, then you just might have to brace yourself again, if you have Android devices that your kids love to use. Walt Disney Studios and Google Play have inked a partnership so that Android users will have access to all Disney, Pixar and Marvel movies that they’d like to buy, wherever they want to view it.
The Disney Movies Anywhere app is now available for Android devices. This means that when you link your Google Play account to the app, anything you buy from there can be viewed on any of your smartphones or tablets, as long as it has Google Play Movies. Great news for kids and Disney-loving adults, bad news for those who cannot take Frozen song numbers over and over again.
There are over 400 digital titles from Disney, Pixar and Marvel available for purchase from the app. Aside from buying movies, the app also has previews for titles that are coming soon in the theater, as well as bonus exlusive short-form content. If you bought Blu-Ray and DVD titles, you can redeem a digital copy from the app by using the codes from the box or case. You get to earn points for your digital purchases which will be converted to Disney Movie Rewards. You will also be able to receive a free digital copy of Wreck-It Ralph when you connect a new participating retailer account, but only for a limited time.

The launch of Disney Movies Anywhere coincides with the Blu-Ray and DVD release of one of Disney’s recent big hits, Maleficent, as well as the less than stellar Planes: Fire and Rescue title. However, if you live outside the US, you’d have to rely on your other usual sources of Disney movies since the app is only available for now in the country. You can download Disney Movies Anywhere from the Google Play Store.
