If it’s always been your dream to fly a fighter jet through your city, but you neither have a fighter jet nor a city to defend, then it is best to do it virtually. A new game from the same developers of best-selling game Catapault King will allow you do just that with their new endless runner game, Jet Run. But instead of actual running, you get to fly through a city as you defend it from enemies that are attempting to take over.
This is not just your ordinary fighter jet though. It can let you fly at low altitudes as you maneuver through towering skyscrapers, fly through alleyways, and avoid the exploding buildings. The Mother Ship of the alien invaders will try to thwart your every move by unloading these explosives and other enemies that you have to either explode yourself or try to outrun. You use touch and swipe movements to control your plane, and given the amount of similar games that use these simple controls, that should be easy for you.
As you play the game, you’ll be able to upgrade your ship’s missiles and targets as you try to defeat aliens that seem to have come from the 90s with their retrograde looks and outfits. You’ll also be able to unlock certain gifts and abilities as you advance to later stages. You can’t expect much storyline from the game, as well as state-of-the-art graphics. But it does have radical turbo HD graphics, so that’s still saying something. And if you’re feeling a bit competitive, you can compare your scores with friends who play the game.
You can download Jet Run from the Google Play Store for free. There are certain in-app purchases to help you along, so as we always remind you, don’t forget to fix your settings so no one who borrows your phone can easily buy all these available upgrades.
