Android 3.0 Honeycomb has been spotted in recent Adobe Air logs. Presumably a Google engineer was testing Adobe Air’s performance on the operating system and that’s how it appeared in the log.

Adobe’s tool AirBenchmark allows users to test how well AIR will run on their devices, and it then sends this information to Adobe so they know which handsets are having trouble. These results are posted on a history page for all to see.

Interestingly we see not only the build pictured above, but we also see 3 additional builds that have accessed AirBenchmark. All of these were from the Nexus One which is good news for Nexus One owners. Hinting that Honeycomb will be available for them means that their devices will not see Gingerbread as its last update.

Update: Just as suspected, it appears the 3.0 “builds” that appeared in the AirBenchmark were faked by frAndroid. Just trying to confirm that the previous build we saw on the 25th of November could have been faked, frAndroid edited the build.prop file, and just like that it appeared as Honeycomb in Adobe’s program.

However, we still believe that Honeycomb is in testing, it would be almost impossible for it not to be.
