Any device with low battery is deemed almost useless until you plug and see battery level rise. A full, green battery is always a sight to behold. But sadly, that is not always the case. Gadgets run on juice and most of them won’t last the whole day. The technique is to bring a charger or a power bank with you all the time. Or, just charge the device anytime there is a chance. You don’t want to suddenly run out of batt when you’re in an important conversation, do you?
Paranoid Gems has recently introduced a new app that can tell you the battery status of all your devices. It syncs Bluetooth, WiFi, and battery levels across gadgets and sends notification whenever battery is low. This app allows the user to be informed if battery is already below a threshold level according to the developer.
If you forget to disable WiFi or Bluetooth on a device, it will sap the battery even when not it use. With Potential app, these services can be disabled from anywhere and anytime. Make sure you are logged in to your account on all devices.
Potential app reminds us of the Battery Genie we featured earlier. The latter relies on Chrome via a Chrome extension and is a paid app. Potential is free to download but is still in beta mode so don’t be surpised if there are a lot of bugs. The developer, Paranoid Gems, said the app is “still under heavy development”. New features are being added so it’s not yet perfect. The development team aims to improve the app since it’s an Early Access title. More fans are asked to help by using the app and reporting bugs their way.
This is one clever app but it’s not the first of its kind. Expect more like this to be released. You can download Potential app from the Google Play Store.
