When the developers of one of the newest Android games were thinking of what to name their mobile game, they probably concluded “Heck, why come up with a complicated name when you could just easily have something that is self-explanatory?” Hence, the birth of Weapons throwing RPG (okay, we were just imagining the thought process that went into naming the game, but it works right?) which is exactly what its name suggests it is.

Simply put, the game is all about throwing your weapons at the enemy and trying to avoid being hit by the weapons they throw back at you. Sounds simple enough right? And it is, but what makes it stand out in this age of modern and high-tech graphics and animation is that it actually looks old school, like an anime show you would watch in the early 90s during the 16-bit era. Not to say that it’s too simplistic or anything. In fact if you look at it closely, the animation is very detailed and stylish.

You can choose to be one of six characters with different abilities who throw weapons at the enemies who threaten the peace of Yusdaril, an island paradise in the sky. You also get to enlist the help of Combat Pets who will fight alongside you. You get to choose which weapon you want to chuck at the villains, but you have to be careful not to run out of them in every level. You also get cool tools like turning invisible in order to escape the weapons from your enemies.

Weapons throwing RPG can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store. There are some in-app purchases ranging from $0.99 to $9.99 so just a reminder to enable (or rather, disable) purchasing powers if someone else will be playing the game on your device.
