Lenovo rolled out the Vibe Z2 at IFA 2014, not to be confused with the Vibe Z2 Pro that debuted in early August. The Z2 is the first 64-bit smartphone to come from Lenovo. A 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display with a 520nit brightness rating graces the front of the smartphone making it one of the brightest smartphones on the market today.

Under the hood, Lenovo gave the Z2 a Snapdragon 64-bit processor operating at 1.4GHz. Power comes from a 3000 mAh battery and it has 32GB of storage. The Z2 supports LTE broadband speeds and has support for dual SIM cards. The Z2 is a selfie phone with an 8MP front camera that has a special anti-distortion lens aimed at making superior selfies.

On the back of the Z2 is a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a Sony EXMOR BSI sensor for high-quality photography at night. The camera also has button free shutter control and Instant On feature for capturing photos quickly from standby. Internal storage is 32GB and the smartphone supports 4G LTE data speeds.

Lenovo will offer the Z2 in China first starting in October. Other countries where Lenovo sells devices will get the smartphone later. The Z2 will sell for the equivalent of $429 in the markets where it is available.
