We don’t actually advocate shooting your Galaxy Tab, even if it is with a CO2-powered pistol rather than a “true” firearm, but it’s a good way of demonstrating your confidence in the Gorilla Glass front panel. YouTuber metafonic braved his Samsung slate with three metal pellets from around a meter away.
At the risk of spoiling the surprise, the Galaxy Tab survives unharmed and unscratched, and the touchscreen still works perfectly. Incidentally, in the second video you can see what a pellet from the gun does to regular glass.

Ipad 2…. I can’t respect a company that purposefully holds back basic features just so they can make more money later on and act like they didn’t mean to screw it’s customers. The ipod nano was able to take video for Christ’s sake! Why not the ipad 1? Here, ill stop the suspense, ipad 2 will have front and back camera, retina display, and 512mb of ram, like it should have had upon release.

The Gorilla Glass has worked out so well for the new iPhones why not put it in the living room, I’m sure it will add nothing to the cost of already overpriced sets. http://www.whatisall.com/technology/what-is-gorilla-glass.html
