The 5th season of The Walking Dead TV series is still four months away, and if you are craving for your “zombie fix,” your Android gadget might have the solution. The Walking Dead: Season Two game is now available at the Google Play Store, picking up where the events of the first season left off. This time, you will play the character of Clementine, the young girl who was being protected by Season 1 main character Lee Everett.
The game is composed of five episodes, with the first one available for free on the app, while episodes 2 and 3 can be bought in-app. Episodes 4 and 5 will be available later this summer. If you played the game in the first season, all the decisions that you made in the five-episode arc plus the bonus feature “400 Days” will carry-over into this new game. This time around, Clementine is all alone and trying to navigate the world that has been run over by zombies. You will meet new survivors along the way, and just like in the graphic novel and the TV series, you need to make tough decisions in order to survive and protect other people as well.
The First Season was a big hit among fans of the franchise and Android gamers as well. It won over 90 different Game of the Year awards for its state-of-the-art graphics and engrossing storyline. Season Two promises more of the same, and possibly, even better, as it will run on Android devices that run on the Adreno 300 series, Mali-T600 series, PowerVR SGX544, or Tegra 4 GPUs. However if you use devices like the Galaxy 2, Droid RAZR and Galaxy S3 Mini, you may experience some performance issues. And unfortunately for Galaxy Tab3 users, this game will not run on your device.
When you purchase the Season Pass, you will be able to get 25% off the additional episodes. So if you plan on finishing this to the end, which most users probably will, this is already a good deal for you. You can download The Walking Dead: Season Two on the Google Play Store.
