T-Mobile has announced the upcoming availability of the Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7 tablet. The tablet will be available with T-Mobile beginning on June 18th, and perhaps more important for some — it will arrive with a relatively low price point.
The OneTouch Pop 7 will be priced at $168. And to clarify, that is the full retail price. Breaking that down into monthly payments would mean a $0 down offer with 24 monthly payments of $7. As the 7 in the name would suggest, the tablet sports a 7-inch display (at 1024 x 600). Other feature highlights include a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 3240 mAh battery, 2MP rear-facing camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Those picking up the OneTouch Pop 7 will also be able to take advantage of the T-Mobile ‘Tablet Freedom’ offer which means 200MB of free data per month for the life of the device. You’ll also be able to bump that free data offer to “nearly” 1.2GB of data through the rest of the year.
Along with the announcement for the Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7 — T-Mobile is also kicking off a Dads & Grads sale. The Dads & Grads sale begins today and runs through June 15th. This one is fairly simple and means users will be able to save $100 on the purchase of a tablet. The $100 discount applies to the full retail pricing and using the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition as an example — that would mean $0 down with 24 payments of $25.
