It seems the LG G3 related leaks are beginning to increase in frequency. Yesterday we saw some details on the LG G3 mini and about a week earlier there was a bit about the regular-sized G3. The earlier G3 leak was suggesting the handset would arrive with a 5.5-inch 2K display and 13MP rear-facing camera.
And well, it looks like this latest leak is telling a slightly different story. This one comes by way of the Sprint website. Specifically, the UA Profile for the LG-LS990 smartphone. This filing has the handset listed with a 16MP camera on the back. We have to remember these are early reports. Plus there is always the possibility LG is testing several variants of the device.
Other highlights coming from the Sprint UAProf report show the G3 with 2GB of RAM and a 2.4MP camera on the front. There was also mention of 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot with support for 64GB cards, a display resolution of 2560 x 1440 and Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat.
The report also has the handset listed with a Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor. In regards to the processor, the folks at My LG Phones touched on how LG could be using the 800 only for development purposes. Anyway, time will tell how accurate these end up, but in the meantime we’ll be on the lookout for additional leaks on the LG-LS990 (for Sprint) as well as other carrier variants.
