Amazon has rolled out Dash, a device that makes it easier to order groceries from their Amazon Fresh service. Currently limited to a few West Coast cities, Fresh offers the same delivery method enjoyed from Amazon proper, it just has foodstuff instead.

Dash is pretty simple, in that it’s both a barcode scanner and voice recorder, allowing you place orders easily. Once you scan or speak an order, it’s linked to your Amazon account, and all you have to do is approve it via the desktop or app. Pretty simple, really.

The device is currently free to a limited group, and is invitation only. You can sign-up on the Fresh website, but remember Fresh is only available in Seattle, San Francisco, and the L.A. area. Amazon hasn’t said if this device will work with their regular site at any point in time, and hasn’t returned our request for comment.

This compliments Amazon’s Fire TV service released earlier this week, and rounds out an Amazon device lineup including their Kindle Fire tablets. If Amazon released their oft-discussed smartphone, our homes could be littered with Amazon products.
