If you are a big fan of Facebook on the Android platform, you will be interested to hear that you can now get Facebook Places integration with Loopt. The new version of Loopt for Android comes on the heels of the new version of the app for the iPhone last week.
The latest Loopt for Android gets a new universal map view that shows all of your Facebook friends on an interactive map so you can find friends nearby. Loopt also has a dual check-in feature to allow users to check in on Facebook and in Facebook Places at the same time.
Another new feature is friend’s history that will show you friends from Facebook that have used Facebook Places. The new version of the app also has an upgraded and easier to use Loopt registration system with an email login option and users can join using a phone number or an email address now.
