Verizon Wireless appears to be making another push into the prepaid market. This latest comes with the introduction of the ALLSET PLANS, which are being touted as offering flexibility along with an affordable price and no annual agreements. Big Red has these plans beginning at $35 per month for regular phones, and at $45 per month for smartphones.
At this price you can expect unlimited talk and text with 500MB of data. Those looking to up that data allowance can do so — for an additional fee. This comes with what Verizon refers to as BRIDGE DATA, which is basically 500MB, 1GB, and 3GB options. These are priced at $5, $10, and $20 respectively.
The 500MB option has a 30-day expiration, with the 1GB and 3GB options being good for 90-days. Also worth mentioning, Verizon is offering to double that 500MB data allowance for a “limited time.” Users looking to get that bump from 500MB to 1GB will need to enroll in Auto Pay. And nicely, Verizon has also said that “any unused BRIDGE DATA in a current monthly cycle moves to the next cycle.”
Otherwise, these ALLSET PLANS also include unlimited texting to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Another limited time offer with these plans touched on international calling. Verizon has said those customers signing up for the $45 per month smartphone option will get 1,000 minutes a month that can be used to call Canada and Mexico. And while a 500MB data allowance may not be ideal in terms of tethering, ALLSET users will have Mobile Hotspot available.
Verizon has a selection of phones available for use with these plans including the Samsung Galaxy Legend, Samsung Illusion, and LG Optimus Zone. The prepaid smartphone lineup also includes the Moto G, which is still selling for a contract-free $99.99.

pricing is lower but whatever. Don’t go with them if you don’t like it simple. Now please attain some kind of life instead of complaining about pricing of a service you never had any intention of obtaining anyway. Thank you.
