AT&T has announced a new promotional offer that will be available for both new and existing customers. This one has already gone into effect and brings the potential of a $100 bill credit. In order to claim the credit you only need to activate a new line of service. But as with many other offers such as this, there is a bit of fine print attached.
To begin with, the offer is going to be available for a limited time and ending on March 31, 2014. Furthermore, customers taking advantage of this offer will need to keep that new line of service active and in good standing for 45 days to get full credit. Furthermore, AT&T has said the $100 bill credit will show up within three billing cycles.
The offer will be available for customers activating a new smartphone or tablet, as well as a feature phone, mobile hotspot or Wireless Home Phone line of service. Customers will be able to take advantage of the offer in any of the AT&T retail stores, or online by visiting the newly launched promo page at www.att.com/100credit.
Bottom line here, AT&T is offering a decent incentive to attract new customers. But also, as mentioned by David Christopher, chief marketing officer at AT&T Mobility, this credit offer serves to “reward our [their] existing customers.” Of course, there was also mention of how it will be an “incentive for customers of Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and other wireless carriers to come to AT&T and enjoy the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network.”
