Acer has unveiled their latest all-in-one monitor. The model is the TA272, which is powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra process and running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. And as equally important, the Acer TA272 measures in at 27 inches and sports a resolution of 2560 x 1440. As was pointed out by Acer, that means the display resolution is 4 times sharper than HD.
Along with the Tegra processor, Acer also has the TA272 loaded with 16GB of internal storage, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, a 2 megapixel webcam and front-facing Dolby surround sound speakers. Those considering a purchase will also find a USB 3.0 port and 10-point capacitive touch. Aside from using this display with the included Android installation, it can also serve as an external monitor for other setups.
To that point, the TA272 has HDMI and DisplayPort for connectivity. As you will notice from the images sitting below, the display has a wide range of sitting/viewing angles. Acer has said the display can be positioned anywhere from 30 to 80 degrees. That all being said, this setup is already shipping worldwide and is arriving with a suggested price point of $1,099.
Aside from the news of the TA272 all-in-one display, Acer also refreshed the Iconia A1 and B1 tablets ahead of CES. These tablets are both running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and sport a 7.9-inch (A1) and 7-inch (B1) display. Otherwise, Acer also rolled out another color option for the C720P touchscreen Chromebook — Moonstone White.

How silly is it to post such a development in a new and larger screen without frame of reference for size. No hands, no pencil, no soda can, or cuppa joe. Looks like ANY smaller sreen. D’Oh!
