The P90X workout isn’t anything new. In fact, they seem to have bumped the routine up to P90X3. But what is new though, the Android app. The release of the app should add a bit of convenience for those who have already been doing the program, but it should also be good for those who were waiting for the app before they purchase the workout program itself.
With that in mind, the P90X app isn’t free and those who do purchase the app will then have to shell out a bit more money for the actual workouts. The app is selling for $2.99, and the workouts are $6.99 individually. Alternatively, those looking for the full package can opt for the $60 bundle pack.
The price of the app shouldn’t be much of an issue for those already using the program. And to further entice those new to the program, if you purchase workout programs using the app, you do get a special discount. Pricing aside though, the P90X app is for workout tracking.
Some of the highlight features of the app include scheduling, tracking and sharing. The app will let you monitor your progress for the P90X, X2 and X3 workout programs and also provides custom reports at the 30, 60 and 90 day marks. In terms of the scheduling, this means you’ll never have to worry about what you need to do, just open the app and get going.
The app also has another bonus for those often on the go. The P90X Android app allows for special “Guided Workouts” that are described as being specially designed for your smartphone. These offer video demonstrations to get you started and it should also be made clear, these special smartphone workouts are available for purchase and not included for free.
