The large DROID X has been a popular multimedia phone for Verizon Android fans. It looks as if a new DROID X may be launched on Verizon’s network sometime soon. The DROID X SE (Special or Silver Edition) is rumored to be coming to the carrier with an array of new features, hopefully.

The differences are mostly unknown, for now. We can clearly see the new Silver bezel – different from the black one found on current models – and it’s rumored to be sporting the new 1.2GHz CPU that’s going to be used on the DROID 2 Global.

Other than aesthetics and a new CPU, not much is known about the upcoming DROID X SE. As always, we’ll let you know when further information is revealed, just don’t expect it to come officially from Verizon anytime soon. From the way we’re hearing about the Droid 2 Global it seems they like to keep things on a last minute announcement basis only.
