Best Buy has announced a new variant of the Samsung Galaxy S 4. Or more specifically, a new color of the Galaxy S 4. This latest is dubbed Blue Arctic and as many have likely guessed, it will be available exclusively with Best Buy. The retailer has the handset arriving on November 10th with pre-orders coming for select customers a few days in advance.
The pre-orders will kick off on November 8th and those are available for MyBestBuy Elite and Elite Plus members. Regardless of whether you pre-order or purchase on the regular release day, the Blue Arctic Galaxy S 4 will be available online with Best Buy and also in the Samsung Experience Shops at the more than 1,400 Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores.
This one will be available for AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint. Best Buy has yet to specify the price for this handset, however they are offering it in conjunction with the in-store trade-in program. This basically means you will be able to get “up to” $200 if you trade-in another working device.
That all being said, aside from the new color on the outside, the hardware remains the same. Basically, that is to say the Galaxy S 4 will be sporting a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 2600 mAh battery, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 13 megapixel rear-facing camera. Of course, the handset will also be running Jelly Bean with TouchWiz.

Cool, but because I’m a case hound who swaps out a case seemingly 2-3 times a month, (I mostly use UAG as of late, but not limited to) I gotta go with black as these colored phones clash with the colors of my cases.
