Word is that users are reportedly being pushed an OTA update for the T-Mobile G2. The update is being said to include WiFi calling capabilities as well as bringing USB Tethering and Portable WiFi Hotspot features to the device.
As of now it doesn’t seem the update is widespread, yet. Only a few users have actually been pushed the update, but if this is meant to be a mass OTA update, we can expect other users to be getting it over the coming days.

yeah i have it on my g2 tis awesome finally tethering and wifi broadcasting with out having to rely on 3rd party apps
Just bought mine on 2/13/11. The update was there when it turned on.
