How much trouble would you go through just to get your phone back? Most people would just have their phone cancelled and go buy another or let insurance deal with it, but one man in Palo Alto, California didn’t just walk away with a frown upon his face and settle with no phone. He took matters into his own hands.
Little did the thief know that this man would take extreme measures to get his precious Android smart phone back. The man contacted the local police to help search for the fugitive. It turned into a full on man hunt for the the thief who stole this poor man’s Android. The local police even got a sheriff’s helicopter involved as well which helped survey the area. The man wasn’t caught even after being chased by a police officer and is on the run. This just goes to show how far some people will go to get back their precious phones.
Update: Police are still searching for the man and a description is provided below
“The suspect is described as a slim black man between the ages of 16 and 25 with a thin mustache. He was wearing a black or red shirt, dark pants and green earrings, Nielepko said. Anyone with information regarding the case are asked to call Palo Alto police at 650-329-2413.”
