The latest Humble Mobile Bundle has arrived and always, this means you will be able to get a few games at whatever price you determine is fair. The bundle is the Humble Mobile Bundle 2 and includes the following in terms of games; Punch Quest, Bloons TD 5, Time Surfer, Star Command, Ravensworld: Shadowlands and Carmageddon. While it is true that you can set your own price, there is a slight catch.
Those last two games mentioned, Ravensworld: Shadowlands and Carmageddon, will only be available if you choose to pay more than the average amount. For reference, at the present time the average purchase price is $4.64. Similar to previous Humble Bundle offerings, these games are DRM-free and some of them come with soundtracks. For this bundle it looks like there will be five soundtracks.
That being said, those choosing to back the bundle will get these games and also have the opportunity to choose how much of their payment goes to the developers and how much goes to charity. The process begins with you picking your dollar amount.
There are a few preset options available, however you can choose the ‘custom amount’ option to make sure you pay what you want. From here you decide how to split that payment with options to offer some to the previously mentioned developers and charity as well as some as a tip to Humble (if you want). This time around the charity options include Child’s Play Charity or the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
After those two steps have been completed, it is just a matter of entering your email, letting the folks at Humble know if this is a gift and then choosing how you will pay — with options for PayPal, Amazon Payments and Google. Bottom line here, the Humble Mobile Bundle is a solid way to get a few games and the process is just about as easy as you could hope for.
