LG Canada has announced that the newly unveiled G2 will be coming to the country sometime during fall, with no hint of a date or even a month. They also gave a preliminary list of carriers and retailers that will be selling the device.
LG pulled off the covers from the latest flagship smartphone just two weeks ago. The G2, the latest in the line of the company’s premium “G” devices, sports an impressively thin bezel and is the world’s thinnest 5.2-inch smartphone, while still managing to pack quite a punch in hardware and performance, including a strong 3000 mAh battery. LG Canada has given a list of carrier partners that will have the G2 available, including Bell Mobility, Rogers, SaskTel, TELUS, Videotron and WIND Mobile. Buyers who don’t want to purchase from carriers will have retailer options as well. Best Buy, Future Shop, Target Mobile, Tbooth wireless, The Source, WIRELESS etc. and WIRELESSWAVE are among those named.
The G2 will be coming around fall, but LG has not mentioned any month nor any pricing details. In the US, all four major carriers have announced that they will soon be making the G2 available, while UK retailer Clove has started accepting pre-orders online.
