Michael Dell, chief executive officer of Dell Inc. has gone and pulled another tablet out of his pocket. This looks to be the rumored Looking Glass which specs leaked long ago with an expected release date of November. The tablet is still expected to run Android 2.1 but not much other details were provided by Dell.
The “Looking Glass” is the 7-inch big brother to the Dell Streak. It’s boasting a Tegra 2 processor, seven-inch 800×480 display, 1.3 megapixel camera, 4GB of flash for storage and an SDHC slot for up to 32GB of expansion. It’s interesting that it’s resolution is identical to the Streak 5 regardless of it’s larger size.
It is also worth noting that he went on to mention the Dell Streak to be available in Best Buy locations “soon.” Other than the expected release we have no further details on the Streak or the Looking Glass.
