Sprint has recently started a competition to find some of the best apps that utilize their “ultra fast” 4G network. With 5 categories: Multimedia, Gaming, Productivity, Social, and Entertainment, apps will be placed for judging by an all-star panel of judges from companies such as Sprint itself, WIRED, and ars technica.
The winner of each category will receive a price pack with the following:
- $50,000 cash
- 1 year PDP Membership
- 250 hours for Virtual Developer Lab
- HTC EVO 4G device with 1 year service
This looks very promising and will, at the very least, spark interest in developers to create innovative, intuitive, and new apps for the Android platform in the coming months. For further details or if you are an interested developer you can register at the information site here.
