The Galaxy Rugby here in the US over on AT&T was lucky enough to be updated to Jelly Bean back in January, which surprised many, and now it’s your turn up in Canada. We’re hearing the device on both Bell Canada and TELUS is receiving the over-the-air update starting this week.
This little 4-inch dual-core Snapdragon S4 packing smartphone is more than capable of enjoying Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and now you’ll all be able to enjoy the added features. For those unfamiliar, Jelly Bean Brings an array of awesomeness to your device. You’ll enjoy Google Now voice search (our favorite) expandable and informative notifications, and better performance with Project Butter, and much more.
We’re not seeing a full changelog of additional tweaks or fixes at the moment, but will update when we learn more. As usual head to settings, about phone, and check for updates. Then enjoy the latest Jelly Bean from Samsung. The update is going out in waves so it should be arriving soon. Enjoy!
