When TweetDeck promised that a public Beta would be made available some time this week, we don’t imagine that this is exactly what they meant. But, then again, unless this isn’t the final version, at least it means that plenty of folks out there are going to be able to get their hands on it, and try it out on their own devices. And, we’re sure that’s exactly what TweetDeck folks want.
As the title suggests, the Twitter client has made its way onto the Internet, and if you’re interested, you can go ahead and download it right now. Again, there’s no telling whether or not this is the final version that TweetDeck proper will release some time this week, but we imagine it is. No reason to think it isn’t, really. So, if you download it, let us know what you think in the comments. You can download it from right here.
[Update] All right, folks. As many people have figured out just by downloading the leaked version, TweetDeck has confirmed that this isn’t the final build of TweetDeck. In fact, it is an old build, and as far as we can tell, it’s only meant for devices with larger screens. That’s why many folks are experiencing buggy behavior, as well as missing features, and hard to navigate menus. Oh, and one more thing: the Beta is dropping tomorrow. That’s directly from TweetDeck’s Twitter account. So, start holding your breath, folks.
[thanks, Abed!]
