Another new company is entering the highly competitive mobile industry. 3Plus is set to showcase new connected devices at the upcoming CES 2016 in Last Vegas which is happening a couple of weeks from now. The company is expected to introduce a new smartwatch plus three connected devices that can be very useful for those people who are always on-the-go and want to keep track of their fitness and health.
The latest line of 3Plus wearables is expected to impress those people looking for devices that are not as complicated. The smartwatch offers quick alerts for text messages, emails, calls, and other notifications. It works via Bluetooth 4.0 so there really is no need for WiFi or cellular connection. You only need to pair the smartwatch and your smartphone running either iOS or Android.
The 3Plus Time is a smartwatch that looks like an ordinary yet classic-styled timepiece. It features a big, round display screen that shows the Roman numeral hours. The OLED display is there to show notifications. The wearable device can also be used to track different activities like deep sleep time, sleep duration, distance traveled, calories burned, and number of steps taken. You can choose from either the stainless steel or leather band version. The stainless steel is pricier at $180 compared to the $160 leather version.
The 3Plus wearables include the 3Plus Lite, Swipe HR, and the Touch. The Lite wearable is the cheapest at only $40 that can do what any other basic fitness trackers can do. It can tell you reminders like when to take your meds or wake up. The device is ready for daily rough use because it’s got IP67 rating. The OLED display makes it power efficient so you don’t have to worry about its battery draining fast.
Meanwhile, the 3Plus Swipe HR is a smartwatch plus activity tracker in one. The $99 device will also help you track meals with the help of the MyFitnessPal app. It comes with a small 1.1-inch touchscreen display. It’s also capable of automatice data sync, heart-range alert, and receiving important alerts and notifications.
Last but not the least is the 3Plus Touch that actually comes with most of the features of the 3Plus Lite and Swipe HR. This one though comes with a microphone so you can directly answer the calls. The device also lasts longer at up to two-weeks on standby mode, thanks to a lightweight lithium-polymer batt. Price tag reads $120.
