You’ve heard them say, “Save the mercenaries. Save the world.” Okay, no one probably said that ever, not until you’ve come across this new game from OUYA Publishing called Mercenary Kings. While you’re out to rescue your comrades, you’re also out to save the world from an evil organization with probably sinister plans. If you’re into this kind of game and if you have an Android TV, then you should probably check out this side shooter.
The Mercenary Kings are actually the most popular warriors-for-hire on this planet, but for some reason, your colleagues have been captured by a group called CLAW who are doing some sort of experiment at an island-wide top secret Laboratory Base. Naturally, you being the sole member not yet under their custody, you mount a rescue mission accompanied by “a crew of rogue geniuses and experts of their field”.
Technically, this is a mission based run and gun game and you will undergo more than a hundred missions if you keep playing the game. You can choose to play solo or join a local co-op of up to 4 players. You will be able to craft, customize, and upgrade your weapons, which is pretty important for a game like this. Of course the more you play and get points, the more you rise up the rankings.
You can download Mercenary Kings for $9.99 from the Google Play Store. However, it is only available for Razer Forge TV, Android TV and NVIDIA Shield TV via Google Play, and Fire TV via Amazon App Store.
