Chinese OEM ZTE recently introduced a new Nubia in town. Meet the the Nubia Prague S which is an obvious follow-up to the My Prague phone released August last year. There are too many Nubia phones already but that’s good because it means mobile consumers have a lot of choices. There are a lot of similarities between the Prague S and My Prague but the latest one has some improvements.
The Nubia Prague S’ display is the same as the My Prague at 5.2-inches, Full HD, and 2.5 glass. The Prague S screen is Super AMOLED compared to the basic AMOLED of the previous model. Both have 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU processor, 13MP main camera, a 8MP front-facing cam, and 2200 mAh battery. The only difference is the 64GB onboard storage on the new Prague versus the 32GB of the 3GBRAM and 16GB/2GBRAM variants.
The ZTE Nubia Prague S also now features an iris scanner. It’s one feature that we’re expecting to come installed in new smartphones to be released this year. The new Prague is slightly thicker at 6.8 mm. My Prague is only 5.5mm thin. However, it’s lighter at only 135 grams compared to the 140g My Prague.
Phone is now ready for pre-order for only CNY 2,399 or CNY 3,499. That’s about $365 or $380. Available starting January 23 in China. No word if it will arrive in other regions yet.
