Virgin Mobile has announced that it has added a new app to the Android Market for Android users to check out. The app is a live music offering that streams music for fans to enjoy. The app is called Virgin Mobile Live 2.0.
The app gives access to the Virgin Mobile FreeFest performance videos and has a check in feature to let the users check in at events and performances. The app will sync with Facebook and Twitter. It is on the Android Market right now and offers access to both live and taped performances.
The live performances come from Live House at SXSW and will debut on some Virgin Mobile phones next week. The app will work for Virgin Mobile customers and those on other networks as well.
