Sometimes, having your picture on your smartphone’s home page is not enough. You need to edit it, filter the heck out of it, or design it in a way that you will not cringe every time you’d have to look at your home screen. But if you’re too lazy to use complicated photo editing apps and if you have a Sony Xperia device, then you’d probably want to download the Style Portrait app, which is now available on the Google Play Store.
Previously, this app was only available for the newer devices like the Z3+, C4, and M4 Aqua and they were already pre-installed. But now, those with compatible devices will be able to download the app and enjoy this pretty easy way of enhancing your photos for your portrait. As its name suggests, the basic function of the app is to style your portrait photos, choosing from among the many pre-set styles available. Some of the styles include face effects, color filters, and even deco frames.
Using it is pretty easy, especially if you’re familiar with the usual photo editing apps. You can either edit an existing portrait photo or preview the various style options in real time before you take the picture. And if you’re feeling even more creative, you can even create your favorite style and add it to the style collection.
The Style Portrait app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store. It is compatible with Xperia devices that have the Sony Social Smart Camera installed.
