You probably don’t have Android 6.0 Marshmallow yet on your Samsung device (apparently there are only .5% of Android users who are) but it is always good to be ready for when the update will finally reach you. A lot of apps have already been updating themselves to support Marshmallow, and one of these is specifically for Samsung devices. SideSync’s latest update brings that as well as several minor updates and bug fixes and improvements.

The Samsung SideSync app allows you to, obviously, sync your smartphone and/or tablet with your PC. Not only can you sync content between two devices, but you can also share mouse and keyboard input and screen sharing as well. You can also copy and paste content in between the two connected devices. It has become a staple for Samsung users since it was launched two years ago.

Aside from support for Marshmallow, the update also brings improved file transfer, additional video player option, on/off options for then URL WEP address share, options for file save path for both smartphone and tablet. However, a lot of these additions will only be activated when your device has been updated to the 6.0 version.

Having Samsung SideSync ready for Marshmallow may be a signal that the update will finally be arriving really soon to those devices that have been set to receive it. But again, there is no specific date yet from Samsung as to when this is. So all we can do is once again wait and just update the apps that are in need of updating.
