It’s a pretty enticing tagline: “Life is a Continuum, Now your Phone is, too.” Right there along with the recent trend to REALLY PUSH for the idea that your phone can organize your life and make it sooo much easier to live. This is the first video ad spot for the Samsung Continuum, released late last night in support of this Samsung Galaxy S series phone complete with 3.4″ main display over 1.8″ screen ticker tape display.
They make it seem very life-fulfilling, for real. It all looks like a really great situation you could be in, taking care of all your instantaneous life changes and letting you do two things at once. “Breaking News Doesn’t Have to Break In” they say, as stock price tickers on the street fling the most recent buys and sells, a dash of feet walk rushedly, a man uses his Continuum in a bar to watch a movie and check the sports score (when, in reality, he’d just be watching the game and drinking a beer,) a woman upgrades her flight status while speaking on speakerphone in a meeting, a man updates his Facebook while watching stock prices rise, and a new man reads a status that leads him to the same bar the other man was sitting at earlier, that earlier man again checking the sports score. “Let the info flow!”
