With Christmas just a few days away and the New Years a few weeks later, you can expect that all brands will go all out with all their holiday promotions and campaigns. Samsung has launched a new out of home advertising campaign for their Gear S2 smartwatch and along with it comes interactive billboards, metro station takeovers, as well as holiday watch faces. There are even some pop-up stores in South Korea where people can experience the OEMs newest smartphone.

If you already have your Gear S2, you can enjoy a wide variety of holiday-themed watch faces that you can use for your wearable. You can choose from among winter landscapes, snowflakes, snowmen,snow globes, weird Christmas sweaters, Christmas tree decorations, and others that can be customized with a variety of colors and looks. All over the world, you’ll see various digital billboards popping up in various major cities all over Europe and Asia.

But one of the biggest things that Samsung is doing is a pop up store at a coffee shop in the Gangnam district (yes, it’s a real place, not just Psy’s hit song). The entrance is decorated like a giant gift and with a large LED installation with the Gear S2 and its various watch faces as well. For those who don’t have the smartwatch yet, they have an experience zone where customers can try out the wearable.

Various OOH components can be seen in the Natural History Museum in Paris, Central Hong Kong, Via Montenapoleone in Milan, BFI IMAX in London, Central House Artist in Moscow. This will probably last until the end of the holidays and they may even add more components in the campaign.
