With just a few days left before its debut, the OPPO Find 7 is almost all but revealed in a set of leaked photos. Here we see OPPO’s next big smartphone looking unabashedly similar to the Find 5 save for few subtle differences.
It seems that OPPO doesn’t want to stray away too much from its tried and tested design. There are, of course, some changes. Compared to the Find 5, the OPPO Find 7 shown in these photos display a more rounded body, particularly the bottom edge and just the right amount of thickness. Other than that, the Find 7 actually looks a bit unassuming but, as the say, it’s what’s inside that counts, and it’s what’s inside that brings up the biggest confusion.
There are actually 2 variants of the Find 7 said to be in production. Although both are said to have the same 5.5-inch screen size, the rest of the specs differ greatly. There is one variant that as a display resolution of 1920×1080, has 2 GB of RAM and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. However, there is also talk of another version with a 2560×1440 display, 3 GB of RAM, and powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 801. The size of the rear camera of either model remain unknown, though there is a rather unbelievable rumor that it will be boasting 50 megapixels.
Needless to say, there is still a lot of speculation going on this close to the announcement date. We’ll just have to wait for March 19 to arrive to see if the OPPO Find 7 is all that it was hyped to be.
