LG U+ subscribers will be happy to know that they’re eligible to get the latest Android 7.0 Nougat through a new Preview Program. Those who own an LG G5 can take a bite off the chunky Nougat first before other Android phone users in the country. The South Korean tech giant on its LG U+ network is offering this program to the first 2,000 people who will sign up. That means it’s on a first-come, first-served basis only.
If you’re lucky to be part of the number, you will be able to download the preview version of the Android 7.0 Nougat for the LG G5. It’s part of a testing phase before the commercial release where all users can download and enjoy the new mobile OS. As part of the first wave of LG G5 Nougat owners, there are some requirements. People are encouraged to send their feedback so both Google and LG will be able to address the issues and fix the bugs.
The goal is provide quality post-sales service so the Android 7.0 Nougat will be more than ready for more consumers on a wider scale. If you live in South Korea, feel free to check out LG Mobile and see what to expect on the Android 7.0 Nougat running on the LG G5.
