I can still remember the big hubbub that went on when Howard Stern moved from normal radio and took his show exclusively to satellite radio. The amount of money that Sirius paid Stern to make the move was obscene, but the payment surely resulted in hoards subscribers.
I am sure there were lots of Stern fans that were really bummed when they learned the Howard Stern show would not be broadcast on the XM App for Android devices. Apparently, Stern has come around to the idea and his show will come to the app after all.
What made the change for Stern is unknown, but I am sure it had to do with the massive amount of money the contract renewal Stern recently made came with. Stern fans now have good reason to continue paying for satellite radio.

What actually happened was that the smart phone apps came about way after his contract with sirius was drawn up and signed. Why should howard NOT get paid to be on XM or on smart phone apps? These are different distribution devices and they were not in his original contract. What would you have done? For someone with a lot of money, money soon becomes seconday to respect. Howard was truly the reason the Sirius XM merger became a reality…
So now he is on XM yet he took a 20% pay cut. How is that getting paid to be on XM
Sirius bought XM so if you have XM you have to add the Best of Sirius Package to hear Howard. Howard has made it very clear that he would never take a pay cut…Check your facts Ralphy!
how much more will it cost to get howard on my droid i have an xm raido now
wel as of right now if you alredy have the premium internet service(2.99 a month for subscribers) its included in that price
So does anybody know when Howard will be available on the SiriusXM App? I don’t see it as of today.

When (and if) you are able to get through to a customer service rep at Sirius/XM, they will tell you that the app for our devices “will be available in early January”. Someone called into the Stern show last week asking about this and neither Howard nor Robin- no surprises there- had any idea of when the app might be expanded to include the show, and neither seemed very tuned into the idea for that matter…they were all planning their next two weeks apparently…

I know that you have to pay an extra 2.99 to be able to link to an existing Sirius account but does the actual app cost more to be able to get the Howard Stern Show on the Android system?
Wheres the Stern haters? Usually when someone write something good about Howard Stern Howard Stern haters come out of the woodwork and write something nasty about him.
