It looks like Samsung saved the best for last and for their home country, because an impressive top of the line new Galaxy S III is arriving in Korea. Come July 9th Korea will be getting the best of both worlds in regards to this flagship phone. Head down past the break for all the details on this extremely impressive phone that we’ll never get to enjoy.
The international models have a quad-core but 1GB of RAM and no LTE, while the US flavors all come with a dual-core, 2GB of RAM, and 4G LTE. Korea however will get the best of everything. Samsung has formally announced the Samsung Exynos 4 Quad powered 2GB of RAM, LTE equipped Galaxy S III for their home country — and I want one.
According to the details on Samsungtomorrow.com this device will be headed to three select carriers in South Korea starting on July 9th. Initially they launched the quad-core version without LTE because the two weren’t compatible yet but apparently they’ve solved the problems and are giving it a go. I’d love to get my hands on that phone but doubt that will ever happen. Would you take it over the Qualcomm S4 dual-core version here in the US? Check out all of our coverage and reviews of both versions of this phone below.

What makes Korean 4G different… Would one of these work with any of the US 4G (non) standards?
