It’s always a huge bonus for virtual keyboards that come pre-installed with a certain brand of smartphones or tablet. While yes, they are available on Google Play Store and people can download and install them on their devices, regardless of brand, but there is still something about coming to a user near you straight out of the box. Fleksy, one of the more popular ones around, has received the “seal of approval” from Chinese OEM Meizu and now comes with their devices worldwide.

Meizu has just recently announced that their newest baby, the Meizu M1 Note, also called the Blue Charm Note in other markets, will be available through their website soon. But along with this comes the Fleksy virtual keyboard, a highly customizable and at times, fun way of typing out messages and posts on social networks. Normally it comes with a minimal fee so you can use all their features, but if you’re a Miezu owner, you get it for free.

Fleksy has long been admired for its customizability and addition of other features not normally seen in virtual keyboards. Late last year, they added GIF support, becoming the only one so far to do so. It will complement the new Meizu phone, which has a 5.5-inch display, 2GB of RAM, 32G of internal memory (expandable of course} and runs on either octa-core MediaTek MT6752 or an octa-core Snapdragon 615 (depending on your market).

Other updates in Fleksy, include thei usual bug and improvements. They’ve also added two new themes in keeping with the “holiday spirit”. 2 new themes for the St. Patrick celebration is now available in case you think your boring old keyboard is not working for you anymore. You can get the app for free from the Google Play Store for $1.99. They also have a free keyboard trial in case you want to check it out first.
