Usually, when a game comes out in other platforms, it takes a few weeks or even months for it to arrive on Android. But there are rare times when it takes years for it to be available on smartphones and tablets that are running on Google’s platform. Deadlock: Online, a multi-player shooting game is one of those, and now after four years of existence in iOS, it finally available for Android users.
The 3D twin-stick multiplayer shooter lets you play against thousands of players that are playing the game on their mobile devices as well. There are 30 different weapons and accessories that you can use, including pistols, rifles, machine guns, grenades, scopes, and flash bangs. The 3D graphics are “realistic” (so if you’re queasy about blood, stay away) and engaging enough that you will keep on playing, depending on what mode you’re in the mood to play. The game has 7 maps that you can explore.
Deadlock has three modes available: the deathmatch mode pits you one on one with other players; the team match lets you play with other team members and against other teams as well; while Capture & Hold asks you to hold an area longer than the other side. There are 30 ranks that you can earn every time you get to a certain number of points. And if you want to unlock more points, you can join asynchronous online tournaments as well.
You can download Deadlock: Online from the Google Play Store for free. There are in-app purchases available to unlock some weapons and ranks, but you can earn them the old-school way by getting points, so no need to buy.
