AT&T is being coy about its Galaxy Tab pricing, but it seems that might be because the carrier is expecting to charge a ridiculous amount for the Froyo slate. Engadget has been sent screenshots of what looks to be an internal training guide for AT&T sales staff, tipping a huge $649.99 contract-free price.
It also suggests a November 21 sales date and the usual data packages: 250MB for $14.99 per month or 2GB for $25 per month. AT&T will load their account manager app onto the slate, for easy account management, but it’s still expensive compared to what other US carriers are offering.
