The first week of March has just passed, and Spring Design still has yet to show any presale indications of its Android-powered dual-screen Alex e-reader . The company’s site still reads “keep checking in and by the first week of March you’ll be able to preorder your Alex online”, but we have word that the touchscreen device is coming a bit later.
We have word from Engadget that Spring Design claims “that there were some slight issues with the order page and that it should be up within the “next week or two,” and Spring Design has plans to ship by “early spring.”
The Spring Design Alex, last seen at CES, sports a dual-screen with 6-inch E Ink up top and 3.5-inch capacitive LCD. Well, “early spring” it is, then. While you’re waiting, check out the SlashGear CES handson on here.
