Koush is once again pushing a major update to his AllCast. Finally, the app has gotten some Material Design elements. This means app is more than ready for Android 5.0 Lollipop. Koush says it’s more of a Material redesign and concepts were made by a certain Liam Spradlin. As with most app updates, the AllCast now features new icons, scrolling toolbars, better pixels, and cool drawers. Numerous bug fixes have been made as well so it should work more smoothly and faster on your Android device.

AllCast is a special app that lets you stream photos, videos, and music to your TV from any Android device via Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, WDTV, ROKU, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or any smart TV from Sony, Panasonic, and Samsung. And let’s not leave those DLNA renderers that work perfectly with the AllCast.

The changes are available on the free version but there’s still the five minute viewing limit. Feel free to upgrade to the premium version if you don’t want the limit. To make the most of AllCase, make sure WiFi is always connected. You can also play from an SD card or access files from Google Drive or Dropbox via streaming. AllCast also features Wake Lock so keep your Android device on while streaming.

  1. the app is good but it doesn’t support all video formats.. there is the megacast app that plays all video formats, it does the transcoding live on the device and there is no delay or anything…
